Hi!

Thank you for partnering with us as a sub in Waumba Land. You are meeting a huge need and helping us stay fully staffed when small group leaders have to be out. Here is some important information about subbing:

How do I become a sub?

Where will I sub?

Who will contact me?

When do I come?

For the 9:15 service, please check in with Izzie by 8:30am.

For the 11:00 service, please check in with Izzie by 10:30am.

What if I'm hungry or thirsty?

Feel free to grab breakfast in the volunteer room before you head to your room. Reminder: please be in your room by 8:30 (for the 9:15 service) or 10:30 (for the 11:00 service).  When you come through the main Waumba Land doors, turn left. The volunteer room is on the left.

What will I do?

Introduce yourself to the volunteers in the classroom. They will be expecting you and will lead you through the process.

What do I need to wear?

Please wear comfortable clothing that is appropriate for playing with children on the floor.

What do I do with my own kids?

If your children are in Waumba Land, they will stay in their regular room for both hours.

If your children are in Upstreet, they will go to their regular small group hour and go to the Leader Room for the other hour. When you check your child in, place a color dot sticker on their name tag (stickers are at the check in computers). If they go to small group at 9:15, take them to their classroom and tell the greeter that they will be going to the leader room for 11:00 because you are subbing in Waumba. If they go to small group at 11:00, take them to the leader room at 9:15. The leader room volunteers will make sure they get to their small group for 11:00.

If your children are in Transit or Inside Out, they can go to student ministry for the hour that you are subbing and then attend the adult service with you at the other hour.
